The M.C. Escher Plant ~ airbrushed watercolor on paper

Illustration

Here's another issue of Hydro Review magazine showing an imaginary hydroelectric plant as it might be designed by the 20th century Dutch artist Maurits Cornelis Escher, better known as M.C. Escher. Escher's artwork often played on clever metamorphoses in which implausibilities would look plausible, a kind of perpetual motion in a dream. Renewable energy technologies aspire to gather energy where it is already in play, a seemingly endless supply.
